D99 moving to email, text messaging to communicate with families

ATTENTION CICERO DISTRICT 99 COMMUNITY:

Over the past few years, Cicero District 99 families have received robocalls, roboemails and text messages about District news and events!

Now, all school administrators will be moving to email and text messaging as the primary source of communication with families!

Messages from the District and schools are intended to disseminate important information and reminders to families in a timely manner.

Below are the types of information which families can expect to receive via email and text message:

  • Weather-related and other emergency school cancellations/building closures
  • Updates on District-wide or school-wide events (Parent University, parent workshops, graduation, school photos, principal coffees)
  • Community/District partnership updates (Town parades, food pantries, community events)
  • Important updates to curriculum or learning plans and initiatives (Student learning contests, online registration, student schedules)

Emails and text messages will be sent from the District office or from your child's school office, with the appropriate letterhead and opening sentence indicating where the message is originating from.

FAMILIES — PLEASE ENSURE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES AND CELL PHONE NUMBERS ARE UP-TO-DATE WITH YOUR SCHOOL OFFICE!

Thank you for your cooperation!
