On Tuesday, Sept. 5, the Chicago Bears made a special surprise visit to Daniel Burnham Elementary School to surprise first-grade teacher Carmina Rosales with the organization's Classroom Legends Award!
Alongside CDW Corporation, the Chicago Bears understand the work that good, quality teachers often do goes unnoticed. Classroom Legends seeks to honor educators who go above and beyond.
At a special assembly at Burnham, Bears owner and chairman George McCaskey and Bears left tackle Braxton Jones presented Rosales with a check for $1,000, which can be used to purchase supplies for her classroom. In addition, Rosales received a personalized jersey, custom football, gift bag and even scored tickets for this Sunday's game versus the Packers!
Well deserved, Ms. Rosales. We are so proud of you! Enjoy the spotlight!
