Zoning in, treasure hunting, and yoga

Mr. Dahl and Ms. Manley

Students in Mr. Dahl's emotional supports program created a map of their room for science class where they developed a map key, adding details. The class wanted to hide treasures throughout the room and see if they could find the treasures using each other's map!

Students are also making sure to do their daily check-in with the Zones of Regulation to discuss how their day is going and finish their day by practicing yoga on the floor with Ms. Manley during social work. Each week the class tries new yoga poses to practice mindfulness and relaxation.
