ENTRADA: (8:30 AM)

NO HAY ADULTOS SUPERVISANDO ANTES DE LAS 8:30 AM.

Estudiantes y padres entran el edificio por las puerta 1 o la puerta 5. La maestra los llevan al salon a las 8:30 AM para la sesión de mañana y a las 12:20 PM para la sesión de la tarde.

Los estudiantes reciben desayuno en la mañana antes de las 8:50 AM.
Los estudiantes reciben una botana saludable en la tarde antes de las 12:40 PM.

El desayuno y la botana son GRATIS para todo los estudiantes.

SALIDA: (11:05 AM & 2:50 PM)

Por favor son puntual cuando recogen a sus hijos. Los estudiantes de la mañana salen a las 11:05 AM. Estudiantes de la tarde salen a las 2:50 PM. Los estudiantes van estar en el lobby principal para que los padres/guardianes.
Estudiantes que no son recogidos después de las 11:15 AM o 3:00 PM van estar en el lobby principal. Para su seguridad los estudiantes solo van a poder ir con un adulto que esta nombrado en la lista de contacto-emergencia. No permitimos que los estudiantes salen a un automobile or que cruzan las calles.

ASISTENCIA:

Los estudiantes no deben de faltar más que 5% del año escolar.

Las ausencias frecuentes tienen un impacto negativo en el desarrollo de sus hijos, así como su rendimiento en la escuela. Si su hijo/a tiene ausencias frecuentes, podría ser inelegible para recibir los servicios de apoyo o suspender dichos servicios. Los padres necesitan notificar a la escuela de cualquier ausencia al número (708)-982-4500.

SALUD:

Tarjetas de Emergencia – Es obligatorio que las tarjetas de emergencia tengan la dirección y los números de teléfonos actualizados.Si cambian de domicilio o si obtienen un nuevo número de teléfono por favor notifíqueloa la oficina. Informe a la escuela si el estudiante tiene alguna alergia, toma algún medicamento, si tiene asma, usa (inhaladores) o cualquier otra condición médica.

PATRULLA DE PADRES:

Patrulla de Padres para el Early Childhood Center esta por venir.
Es un grupo de padres que ofrecen su tiempo para ayudar con la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes. Ellos son padres de familia y deben ser tratados con el debido respeto.Ellos no son guardias de cruce; por lo tanto, los padres no deben de dejar a sus hijos esperando que la Patrulla de Padres les ayude a cruzar la calle con seguridad.Es su responsabilidad como padre el asegurar que sus hijos lleguen a salvo a la escuela.

Seguridad:

Los ninos caminan y crucen las calles durante las horas de escuela, por favor tomar en mente su limite de velocidad.

Las mascotas están prohibidas dentro de la propiedad de la escuela. Por favor absténganse de traer a sus mascotas cuando vengan a dejar o recoger a sus hijos. Incluso la más amistosa de las mascotas puede ser peligrosa cuando se asusta o se alarma.

ESTACIONAMIENTO:

Hay estacionamiento por la calles de la 54 Avenida enfrente de la escuela, calles locales - por favor toma en cuenta los anuncios del pueblo de Cicero.

Por favor no se estacionen en la Zona del Camión - norte del Early Childhood Center. Los autobuses del distrito deben estar disponibles para recoger y llevar a los estudiantes.

COMUNICACION CON LOS PADRES:

Notificaciones – Cada día notas importantes, anuncios, tarjetas de calificaciones, tarjetas de progreso, y comunicación diario son enviados en las mochilas de sus hijo. Por favor toma en cuenta de revisarlos.

Calendario Escolar Mensual: El calendario mensual escolar será enviado a casa al inicio de cada mes para recordarles los eventos escolares y las fechas más importantes.

Boletín Mensual: Al principio de cada mes, cada maestro/a enviara un boletín de noticias destacando los temas a cubrir, los recordatorios, así como las actividades/eventos próximos relativos a la clase.

Cada miércoles de 10:30 AM a 1:00 PM en la sala de conferencia 121.
Libros pre-escolar están disponibles para rentar.

Para ser una consulta para inscribir su hijo/a por favor llame (708)-982-4500.
Padres y Guardianes necesitan traer los siguientes documentos para poder registrar:

• Cinco (5) pruebas de residencia
• Acta de nacimiento del estudiante
• Examen medico del doctor.

ARRIVAL: (8:30 AM)

THERE IS NO ADULT SUPERVISION PRIOR TO 8:30 AM.

Students and Parents enter the building using either Door 1 or Door 5. The classroom teacher will escort them into the building at 8:30 AM for the morning session and 12:20 PM for the afternoon session.

Pickup in the morning is at 11:05 AM and the afternoon pickup is at 2:50 PM. Students will be escorted to the main lobby and dismissed to parents/guardian. STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT IN THEIR CLASSROOM BY 8:45 AM/12:30 PM ARE CONSIDERED TARDY.

Breakfast and Healthy Snacks are FREE to all students.

DISMISSAL: 11:05 AM and 2:50 PM

Please be prompt when picking up your children. Morning Prekindergarten students are dismissed at 11:05 A.M. Afternoon Prekindergarten students are dismissed at 2:50 PM. Prekindergarten will be dismissed in the Main Lobby to parents/guardian who are listed on the contact-emergency card.

Students who are not picked up by 11:15 AM or 3:00 PM will have to be retrieved at the main lobby of the school. For their safety, our students will only be dismissed when picked up in person and ONLY to a person listed on the contact-emergency card. Students will not be dismissed to a car or allowed to cross the street without supervision.

ATTENDANCE:

Students should not miss more than 5% of the school year. Frequent absences can have a negative impact on your child’s academic and behavioral performance. If your child has frequent absences, they could be ineligible for support services as well as retained. Parents need to notify the school of any student absences (708)-982-4500.

HEALTH:

Emergency Cards– It is mandatory that these cards have current addresses and phone numbers at all times.If you move or get a new phone number please contact the office. Notify the school of student allergies, medication being taken, asthma (inhalers) or any medical concerns you may have.

PARENT PATROL:

The EC Center Parent Patrol is coming soon. Parent Patrol is a group of parents who volunteer their time to assist with the safety of our students. They are parents and should be treated with the respect due to a parent. They are not crossing guards; therefore, parents should not be dropping their children off with the expectation that the Parent Patrol will safely cross them. It is your responsibility as a parent to ensure that your child arrives safely at school.

Safety:

Children are walking and crossing the street during school hours, so please be mindful of your speed limit.

Pets are prohibited in or on school property. Please refrain from bringing your pets to drop off/pick up your children. Even the friendliest of pets can be harmful when startled or alarmed.

PARKING:

Parking is available on 54th Avenue in front of the school, local side streets-please check the Town of Cicero Parking Signs.

PLEASE do not park in BUS ZONE -this is the lane immediately north of the school building. The district school buses need to be able to pick up and drop off students.

PARENT COMMUNICATION:

Notifications - Important school notes, flyers, report cards, progress reports, and daily classroom communications are sent home in your child's backpack daily. Please be sure to check them.

School Monthly Calendar: At the beginning of each month a school calendar will be sent home identifying important dates and school events.

Monthly Newsletter: At the beginning of each month every classroom teacher will send home a newsletter highlighting the topics being covered, classroom reminders as well as upcoming activities/events relevant to their class.

WEATHER:

Please take the time in the morning and check the weather. Be sure to dress your children appropriately.

Students are only let/kept in if the temperature falls below 30 degrees.
