The Fine Arts Department supports instruction during the school day in music and visual arts in each school in the district. Music and visual arts courses follow the Illinois Arts Learning Standards, which are grouped into four artistic processes: Creating, Presenting/Performing, Responding and Connecting.  

The Fine Arts Department also supports extracurricular programming through art, music, dance and drama clubs.  All students in grades 4-8 are also eligible to audition for the District's musical production and participate in the District's band program. Additionally, the District hosts Fine Arts Summer Camps in July and August.
