The Title I grant provides federal funds to district schools based on the number of low-income families living within their boundaries. These funds allow schools to provide additional support for achieving academic success and literacy support. A strong method of providing academic support is through Parent Involvement opportunities that encourage and enable parents/guardians to support student success in school.
