Student Registration with PowerSchool
Online enrollment for the upcoming school year is now available! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. You will use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the Registration. You must complete the online registration process by July 31 to complete your enrollment at Unity Junior High School for the 2019-20 School Year.
How do I get started?
Visit www.cicd99.powerschool.com and select the PowerSchool Parent Portal icon. From the Parent Portal:
- Select the student you wish to register along the top
- Select the Student Registration Icon on the left side for 2019-20.
- Agree to the terms and conditions
- Select Begin Forms
I can’t remember my login for the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If you aren’t able to retrieve your login credentials using the “Having trouble signing in?” link on the Sign In page, please contact your school directly for assistance logging in to the Parent Portal.
Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change prior to submitting the form, you can either navigate back to the page using the “< Prev” and “Next >” buttons or if you are on the Review page select the underlined field. If you have already submitted the form you will need to contact your student’s school so they can make the changes for you.
I’ve completed the form, now what?
Once you have finished entering your information select “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot select this button you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.
What if I have more than one student in the district? Do I need to do this for each child?
Yes, you will need to provide information that is specific to each child. We recommend that you complete and submit one form and then start another. This will allow you to “snap” (or share) selected family information, which saves you time.

¿Y si me equivoco?

Daniel Murphy Scholarship
The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation (DMSF) was started in 1989 to provide educational opportunities to Chicagoland students who, without financial assistance, would not have the chance to attend high-performing private high schools outside their zip code.
Each year, 125 eight-graders are selected to receive the scholarship, and if chosen get to pick any parochial and day schools in Chicago or boarding schools across the U.S.
Since its inception, DMSF has awarded more than 2,400 students with scholarships.
The initial application requires THREE distinct portions to be filed by the student, a parent, and the student's teacher and principal or guidance counselor. Students answer short questions and two long essays on academic aspirations and personal goals, parents must both respond to questions and provide financial information, and school staff must complete recommendation forms and submit report card and standardized test results.
Following review, select students are asked for an interview with their parents, where students meet with three panels of members from the DMSF Education Department and will receive a decision two weeks after submission.
