For two weeks this month, dozens of students from across Cicero had the opportunity to meet new friends, learn from new teachers and try their hands at new skills during the District's annual Fine Arts Summer Camps, held this year at Unity Junior High School.

With offerings including painting and ceramics and STEAM and robotics projects, students of all ages had the opportunity to take advantage of their mornings to test their artistic and scientific abilities — all while creating new friendships in the mix!

Every summer, the District's Fine Arts Summer Camps offer students the opportunity to explore unique interests outside of athletics and other typical summer activities — and the arts and sciences specifically help children increase their capacities for teamwork, problem solving and self-awareness!
