At Cicero District 99, we believe in the power of athletics to inspire, develop teamwork, and create lasting memories. Our programs offer a range of opportunities for students to compete, stay active, and grow — both on and off the field.

We offer competitive team sports for our Unity Junior High School students, providing them opportunities to develop skills, compete, and represent Tiger pride.

Our after-school intramural program is open to all 5-8 graders, offering a fun, inclusive environment where students can participate in various sports, build friendships, and stay active.

During the summer, we host sports camps designed for 4-8 graders, giving students a chance to improve their athletic abilities, learn new skills, and have fun in a structured setting. 

From beginners to experienced athletes, our programs are designed to encourage participation, develop skills, and foster a love for the game. No matter where you start, there’s a place for you!

    Tryouts begin the first week of school, and the season runs from September through November.

Clyde Park District

Year-Round Boys & Girls Soccer Leagues For Ages 3-18. Cost is $50 (In-District) $65 (Out-Of-District) Fall: Registration runs June thru July. Practices start in July. Winter: Registration runs September thru October. Practices & Games start in November. Spring: Registration runs January thru March. Practices start in April. Games begin in May. Boys & Girls Basketball Leagues from 4 years of age up to 8th Grade. Cost is $40 (In-District) $45 (Out-Of-District) Registration begins in September until all teams are filled. Practices start in November. Games begin in December. More fun things: Kung-Fu for the whole family! ($60 In-District) ($75 Out-Of-District) Boxing for ages 6 and up! ($55 per month In-District) ($70 per month Out-Of-District) Classic ballet for ages 2-13 from September thru May. Summer Sports Camps

A fun, active, and FREE way to keep your kids moving during the summer! For all incoming 4th-8th grade students looking for the perfect chance to build skills, make new friends, and stay active! Dates: Last Three Weeks In July (Choose up to 1 camp each week) Location: Unity Junior High School Times: 7th & 8th Grade: 8-10 A.M. 4th-6th Grade: 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Sports Available: Soccer, Basketball, Cross Country, Bowling, Volleyball, Wrestling, Dance, Softball, Track & Field

FREE YMCA Classes

Thanks to the Illinois State Board of Education's After School Programs Grant, D99 students can join amazing classes at NO COST! But spots are limited and registration is first come, first served. Student ID number is required. Only ONE class per student is free. Classes fill fast, so have a few back up choices ready in case your pick is full.
