Business Affairs

The Business Affairs Department ensures the financial health and operational efficiency of Cicero District 99. We manage budgeting, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting with transparency and care—maximizing resources in support of students and staff. Our team also oversees risk management, facility use, and vendor services, helping create safe and well-supported learning environments. We are committed to using public funds responsibly and strategically, aligning all efforts with the district’s mission. Through thoughtful planning and strong stewardship, Business Affairs helps build a foundation for educational excellence across the community.

Public Bidding

  • INSURANCE BIDS WANTED 

    Cicero School District 99 (“School District”) is requesting sealed bids for Workers’ Compensation, Auto Policy (District vehicles and buses), Excess Liability, Crime Policy, General Liability Policy, Property Policy, Educators Legal Liability, Storage Tank Liability, and Cyber Liability sevices.

    Specifications will be available by contacting Kathy.Salinas@alliant.com beginning Sep 17, 2026.

    Sealed bids must be received by Kathy Salinas on or before Oct 22, 2026 at 4PM.

    Late bids will not be considered.

    The bid opening will take place on Oct. 27, 2026 at 1PM.

    Bids will be publicly opened and read at the District Administration Building (5110 W. 24th Street, Cicero, IL 60804) at that time.

    Cicero School District 99 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids when there are sound documented reasons to do so and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received.

USE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY

If you are an external organization interested in using one of our school properties or facilities, please complete the required forms and email them to Ruth Jennings.

The forms include indemnification agreements, facility use permissions, background check details, and associated fees.
