This week, Roosevelt Elementary School celebrated their Smart Cookies —students who scored high on the MAP test or showed exceptional growth — by giving them a glass of milk and some cookies! 

Thirty minutes away from class to sit together, laugh, feel proud, and be seen. Just a simple message delivered the right way: Their effort matters. Their growth matters. They matter.
Hard work doesn't go unnoticed in Cicero District 99 and improvement is just as worthy of celebration as perfection. Progress counts!

Awesome job to the Roosevelt staff who put this together! That's how you build confidence. That's how you create motivation. That's how you remind kids that success isn't always loud — sometimes it's warm, encouraging, and shared around a table.
