Nineteen years ago, Hye Chin (Faith) Jung first walked through the doors of Liberty with a simple vision — educating children on the joy of music.

Nearly two decades later, Jung remains a steadfast leader at her school, not only serving as a musical mentor to hundreds of children, but also as a helpful and compassionate colleague to staff. 

To recognize her many years of service to Cicero District 99, Jung was recognized at this week's Board of Education meeting as one of D99's Very Own.
