Today, on National Administrative Professionals Day, Cicero District 99 proudly celebrates the incredible secretaries, clerks, interpreters, registrars, receptionists, and office staff who keep our schools running smoothly every single day. 

They are often the first smile that greets our families in the morning and the steady voice that helps solve problems before most people even realize there is one. They answer countless phone calls, welcome students and parents, manage attendance, coordinate records, support enrollment, translate and interpret for families, organize schedules, assist staff, handle emergencies, and make sure communication flows between our schools and community. 

They are the calm in the chaos, the problem-solvers behind the scenes, and the heartbeat of our buildings. 

Their work may not always happen in the spotlight, but its impact is felt in every classroom, every front office, and every student success story. They help create safe, welcoming, and organized environments where students can learn and thrive. 

Simply put — our schools could not function without them.
