There are people in this world who choose a profession and then there are people who choose a purpose.

This week, we celebrate the ones who chose both: Teachers. Not just for what they teach but for who they are, every single day.

They are the first to arrive and the last to leave. They carry more than lesson plans — they carry the weight of every child who walks through their door. They notice the quiet ones. They encourage the unsure ones. They challenge the brilliant ones. They believe in the ones who don't yet believe in themselves.

They don't just teach math, reading, or science. They teach confidence. They teach resilience. They teach kindness. They teach what it means to try again... and again... and again.

They celebrate the victories no one else sees. A raised hand from a shy student. A sentence finally read aloud. A problem solved after days of frustration.
