Can you believe it... another incredible school year has come to an end here at Cicero District 99.

And WOW... what a year it has been.

Over the past month, our schools have been filled with nonstop laughter, unforgettable memories, amazing accomplishments, and moments that reminded us why our D99 family is so special. From exciting carnivals and action-packed field days, to joyful picnics, barbeques, and end-of-year-traditions — this last month was a beautiful reminder of just how much our students have grown and how much joy they bring to our schools every single day.

This year, we watched students learn, lead, create, overcome challenges, make new friends, discover new passions, and accomplish things they once thought were impossible. We saw confidence grow. We saw smiles that could light up an entire building. We saw teachers, staff, and families come together to create experiences our students will remember forever.

And honestly... that's what makes Cicero District 99 so special.

The halls that once felt brand new in August are now filled with a year's worth of memories. Every classroom tells a story. Every student leaves this year stronger, smarter, kinder, and more ready for the future ahead.

As we look back at all the fun, it's impossible not to feel a little emotional. Because while we are SO excited for summer adventures, sunshine, late nights, vacations, swimming pools, ice cream trucks, and time with family and friends... there's always something bittersweet about saying goodbye to another amazing school year.

To our students: Thank you for bringing energy, creativity, laughter, and heart into our schools every day. You made this year unforgettable.

To our teachers and staff: Thank you for the love, patience, dedication, and endless support you give our students day in and day out. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom.

And to our families: Thank you for being our partners every step of the way. Your support means everything.

District 99... you truly showed what it means to learn together, celebrate together, and grow together.

Now it's time to enjoy a well-deserved summer break.
