As we observe Juneteenth Freedom Day, Cicero District 99 offices and buildings will be closed on Friday, June 19. Regular operations will resume on Monday.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom, marking the final enforcement of emancipation in the United States.
