Cicero Flood Spending Public Meeting

Posted Date: 07/22/26 (03:33 PM)

🚨 HAVE A VOICE IN WHERE CICERO'S FLOOD MONEY GOES! 💙

Town of Cicero President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees have secured more than $96 MILLION in federal disaster recovery funding following the devastating 2023 floods. Of that, $69.5 million is specifically dedicated to improving stormwater infrastructure, upgrading sewers, and investing in projects designed to reduce future flooding.

But before those plans move forward... they want to hear from YOU!

This isn't just another public meeting. It's an opportunity for residents to learn what's being proposed, ask questions, share concerns, and have a voice in decisions that could impact our neighborhoods for generations.

Whether you've dealt with flooding yourself, want safer streets for your family, or simply care about the future of Cicero, this is your opportunity to be part of the conversation.

📅 Wednesday, July 29
🕔 5-8:30 P.M.
📍 Unity Jr. High School (2115 S. 54th Ave. Cicero, IL 60804)

Strong communities are built when residents get involved.

If you've ever said, "I wish someone would listen to the people who actually live here," this is your opportunity.

Even if you can't attend, please help spread the word by sharing this post. Someone you know may have ideas, concerns, or experiences that deserve to be heard.

A stronger, safer, and more resilient Cicero starts with all of us.
