Back To School Celebration at Summer In The Park

🚨 D99 FAMILIES: WE'VE GOT BIG PLANS FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT! 🎉

We were incredibly disappointed that the weather forced us to cancel our biggest and most popular event of the year — the Cicero District 99 Back to School Fair — this past Sunday.

But we weren't about to let Summer 2026 end like that!

So Wednesday night, Cicero District 99 is partnering with Town President Larry Dominick and the Department of Special Events to help make up for it in a BIG way at Summer in the Park!

👀 FREE School Supply Kits for D99 Students! Families simply need to show that their child is currently enrolled using the PowerSchool App!

And there's a LOT more! Everything is FREE:

🎺 Live Performance By Our D99 Student Band
🐍 Reptile Show
🐐 Petting Zoo
🎡 Carnival Rides
🎨 Arts & Crafts
🔬 Hands-On STEAM Activities With D99 Staff

And who knows... if the weather cooperates, there might even be one more surprise waiting for everyone tomorrow night. 🤫

⚠️ School uniforms will NOT be sold at Summer in the Park. Families who need to purchase uniforms may do so at their child's school on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While this might not be the Back to School Fair we originally planned, we think it's going to be a pretty amazing way to bring our D99 families together, celebrate one last summer night, and get our students excited to head BACK TO SCHOOL next week!
