Unity Junior High School's young scientists stepped outside and launched learning into orbit! 

Out on the east field, students powered their stomp rockets skyward — testing Netwon's Laws of Motion in real time. Every stomp sent air pressure bursting through PVC launchers, propelling hand-built rockets hundreds of feet into the air. Angles, mass, and force weren't just equations — they were flying lessons in physics!

Then, as the smoke cleared,  it was time to ignite imagination with the Fire Snake Experiment. Students gathered as simple ingredients like sugar and baking soda transformed under flame — growing into twisting, black serpents that slithered up from the ashes. What looked like magic was really science in motion — combustion, chemical reactions, and heat energy combining in mesmerizing form.

From the thrill of the launch to the hiss of the fire snakes, our Unity students lived science! Because when learning happens under the open sky, curiosity doesn't just rise... it soars!
