A CELEBRATED LEADER AMONG US: STATE EDUCATION ORGANIZATION RECOGNIZES D99'S TOMSCHIN AS DISTINGUISHED LEADER 🏆

Cicero District 99 would like to congratulate Board of Education President Tom Tomschin for receiving the Distinguished Annual Merit Board Leader Award at the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) West Cook Division meeting yesterday evening!

IASB recognizes school board members for individual time and effort devoted to learning and leadership activities provided by the association, and for service to the public education community.

Cicero District 99 is proud to have had Tomschin serve a variety of roles on the District's school board for nearly 20 years. In his years of service to the District, Tomschin has made a name for himself as a steadfast leader and community advocate —  guidance which has allowed the District to move forward in a positive direction to improve both student and staff outcomes!

Congratulations President Tomschin! 😊
