What's Our District All About?
Cicero District 99 is a 15-school public elementary school district located in Cicero, Illinois — a near-west suburb of Chicago home to more than 82,000 residents. District 99 educates over 8,000 students in preK through eighth grade. The District has been a statewide leader in providing innovative, 21st-century learning opportunities to empower the young people of its diverse, bilingual community. The District provides its students — the majority of whom are low income — with skills, tools, knowledge and mindsets in an approach that addresses the needs of "the whole child" — effectively preparing them for global opportunities of the future in education and the ever-changing workforce.

Hiring quality, bilingual educators for the right positions is key in the success of our Dual Language Program and our goal of moving our emergent bilingual students towards biliteracy.
Please note: A bachelor's degree, teaching certificate, transcripts and a background check are required!

We will also be in Aguadilla on March 25 conducting in-person interviews and March 27 for in-person orientation sessions!
